Superdata runs as a hosted MCP service. Choose the setup that matches your client; every connection uses the same Superdata account and intelligence-credit allowance.

Before you begin

You need an approved Superdata account and access to the Connections page. Interactive clients can use browser sign-in. CI, scripts, and clients without OAuth support can use an API key.

Codex

Install the Superdata plugin and authenticate with browser sign-in.

Claude

Install Superdata in Claude Desktop, Cowork, or Claude Code.

Other MCP clients

Connect a compatible Streamable HTTP client to the hosted endpoint.

API keys

Create and manage credentials for non-interactive connections.

Verify the installation

Restart or reload your client after setup, then ask it to list the Superdata tools. A working connection exposes:
  • superdata_search_companies
  • superdata_search_people
Continue to First query once both tools are visible.
Never paste an API key or OAuth token into a chat, screenshot, source file, or URL. Use your client’s secure credential storage or an environment variable.
