This guide takes you from an approved Superdata account to your first capability discovery and intelligence request.

Before you begin

You need:
  • An approved Superdata private-beta account
  • Access to the Superdata Connections page
  • Codex, Claude, or another Streamable HTTP MCP client
1

Sign in to Superdata

Open Superdata and sign in. Accounts that are still waiting for approval cannot create credentials or use MCP tools.
2

Open Connections

Select Connections in the Superdata sidebar. Choose Codex or Claude, or create an API key for another client.
3

Complete client setup

Follow the guide for your client:
4

Run a focused request

Ask your client:
Your client first searches the capability catalog, inspects the selected operation, and then executes it. Ask the client to show the selected capability before execution when you want to review its contract.
5

Review the response

A completed response identifies the executed operation and includes the upstream status, parsed data, response size, and whether the response was truncated.
6

Confirm usage

Return to Dashboard in Superdata. The Usage overview shows the tool, outcome, credit charge, duration, and time of the call.
Capability search and inspection consume no credits. A successful or no-match superdata_call consumes one intelligence credit. Technical failures restore the reserved credit, and requests rejected before execution consume no credit.
